Artisan Talent is a digital, marketing, and creative staffing agency. I was tasked to create email templates using brand guidelines and illustrations created for the Artisan Talent brand. The templates were for Artisan Talent’s top talent email newsletter. I went through the brand illustrations of people and created a diversity group because there is a lot of diversity in the creative field. From the group, I also selected the best illustrations that would best represent the ‘top talent’ and that was the trophy illustration. I use those graphics to create the header. I then laid out the section that included the top talent. The goal was to lay out the info in the most simplistic, clean way possible to make it an easy read. The email with four candidates was laid out in two rows and two columns and the email with three candidates was laid out in the three rows and one column. When it was on a mobile device or tablet, both were stacked with the image on top and the candidate info underneath. I believe the same solution for smaller devices worked the best. After that, I coded the HTML and CSS directly into Hubspot. I added the copy and imagery into the code. I made some changes to the illustrations in Adobe Illustrator by making some color changes using colors from the brand guidelines.
